A small house with a big heart
Sri Nakoda Bangles began on Dhanappa Mudali Street, Madurai — a small shop, a quiet promise: pay our karigars fairly, always, and let every pair carry a piece of South India home.
How we work
We travel to artisan villages three months a year. We sit on workshop floors with chai and sketch designs together. We pay 100% upfront. We never haggle.
Each piece is signed by the artisan who made it. Every bangle ships in a silk pouch tied with a story card — so you know whose hands shaped yours.
What we believe in
Slow Craft
No machines. No mass production. Just one karigar, one bangle, one full day.
Fair Pay
We pay 3× the market rate, always upfront, always in full.
Heritage First
We preserve dying art forms — meenakari, lac, kundan, polki — so they outlive us.
Made for Wear
Bangles aren't relics. They are for Tuesday mornings and your daughter's wedding.
